LexisNexis Renewal 2021-2022 [1]
LexisNexis have transitioned to a new tiered pricing model. Libraries will see some variation in pricing from previous years, as the new model improves equitability.
The vendor has provided the LAQL Canadian Journal Collection and LAQL Legal Textbook Collections to OCLC and ProQuest, allowing these resources to be indexed by their discovery tools.
To RENEW, no response is required from current subscribers as listed above. To JOIN, CANCEL or to CHANGE OPTIONS, libraries should contact BC ELN by the response deadline.
Libraries are welcome to join this license after the subscription start date. New subscribers will be pro-rated to the common renewal date.
Pricing is now available for the renewal of LexisNexis products and three formerly WK/CCH add-on products:
- Lexis Advance Quicklaw Core
- Lexis Advance Quicklaw Plus
- Nexis Uni Core
- Nexis Uni Core + Quicklaw Plus
- Nexis Uni Plus + Quicklaw Plus
Add-on products:
- Securities & Corporate/Commercial
- Employment/Family/Insurance/Real Estate
- French
Libraries that are members of BC ELN and COPPUL are asked to send their responses to BC ELN.
Pricing has increased by 1.0% over last year's pricing.
LexisNexis also provides a collection of free resources for law school students and faculty, subscription not required, called the Law School Preference Program.
